Hole #1
Short Par 4, long hitters may go for the Green, or laying up short right side of Fairway will leave short iron to a green sloping left to right.
Hole #2
Short Par 5 that can be easily reached in two by the long hitter. Premium is on accuracy from the tee with a gentle draw to gain optimum distance. For the shorter hitter finding the fairway followed by a long iron and wedge should then see the green reached in regulation.
Hole #3
Slight dogleg right that requires a good drive down the right hand side to permit an unimpeded line to the flag. Fairway bunkers on the right protect this line and a large gum tree guards the front left side of the green and will collect any poorly hit mid to short iron approach.
Hole #4
One good Par 3 here any day is good. Takes a long iron or metal to a small Green with a large trap to the left of the Green. Usually plays 1 more club than measures.
Hole #5
Tight driving hole protected by a fairway bunker on the right 230 metres from the tee. Finding the fairway from the tee leaves a downhill shot to a green that can be attacked with a fairway wood or long iron. An accurate second will leave a short iron or wedge approach.
Hole #6
Elevated Par 3 Green over a creek well guarded by Bunkers.
Hole #7
Long Par 5 uphill to a small Green, well guarded left and right with traps. A good drive and Fairway metal should leave short or mid iron to the Green.
Hole #8
Short Par 4 with Fairway bunkering left and right. A straight drive will give you a short iron to a large green or an iron from the tee will take Fairway traps out of play.
Hole #9
Solid Par 3 with pot Bunkering guarding front and left of Green. A wayward shot right of Green may find the creek, so a mid iron to the Green is a worthy shot.
Hole #10
Narrow driving hole for this Par 4 to an elevated Green for a short to mid iron second shot.l Always play an extra club or two with a Green well guarded by 4 Bunkers.
Hole #11
A mid to long iron for this Par 3 with a small Green sloping back to front. Below the hole is best option here.
Hole #12
Hole #13
Long hitters may drive the Fairway trap and have a long iron or Fairway metal to a small Green surrounded by Bunkers. The creek also comes into play for this shot. Laying up will leave a short iron or pitch shot to a firm Green.
Hole #14
Driving the ball right of gum tree will leave a short to mid iron here. Second shot should be right of flag as a Bunker guards the left.
Hole #15
The creek comes into play for the Tee shot in Summer with the driver. Left of Fairway traps should leave short to mid iron to a generous Green guarded front and left with traps.
Hole #16
Plenty of room right for this Tee shot. Taking the left Bunkers out of play will leave a short iron to a small Green sloping front to back.
Hole #17
One or two clubs longer for the Par 3 with elevated Green. Bunkers left and right. A long shot here makes for a difficult pitch.
Hole #18
Tight driving hole with creek winding down the right. Long hitters may reach the Green in two. A long iron or fairway metal will leave a short iron to a Green well undulated.
