Men’s & Ladies Beginners Programs
Box Hill Golf Club runs beginner programs all year round for both
members and the general public. We understand that golf can be quite
intimidating for a beginner golfer, especially without any formal
training. That’s why we have devised a fun learning 6 week course that
will introduced you through the basic’s to playing on the golf course,
all in small groups. Beginner Clinics are a great way to meet new
golfing friends while in a fun atmosphere. Each group has a maximum
size of 6 per class.
Playing Lessons
On course playing lessons can be a great way to learn how to play shots out during battle. Any one of our 3 Golf Professionals are available to take you out for either 9 or 18 hole playing lesson.

Private Coaching
Box Hill is fortunate enough to have 3 AAA rated PGA Professionals who are all excellent coaches. All are available most days of the week and are accomplished club fitters as well.

HALF DAY COACHING
We are introducing a new coaching concept for all those who are looking to take their game to a new level - Half Day Coaching. Spend 4 hours with one of our coaches and we will look at your long game, short game and play 9 holes with you.
This is a great way for you to have an intense training session and then take what you have learned onto the course and put it into action with some help from your coach.

GOLF SCHOOLS
We will be running 1 day golf schools through out the Aummer and Autumn which will cover a vast array of golf tips and coaching. We have 3 different schools you can enroll in and each will be runing at differnt times.
SCHOOL 1
Bunkers, Pitching and chipping and putting will be covered in the morning session, followed by lunch and a debrief. Following the lunch break will be 9 holes accompanied by a Professional in each group.

SCHOOL 2
Mid irons, wedge play, distance control will be covered in the morning session, followed by lunch and a debrief. Following the lunch break will be 9 holes accompanied by a Professional in each group.

SCHOOL 3
This Golf School is based on Course Strategy and how to play golf bt minimising the small errors that casn ruin your game. Shot shaping, playing from poor lies and club selection around the greens will be covered in the morning session, followed by lunch and a debrief. Following the lunch break will be 6 holes accompanied by a Professional in each group, looking at how to play smart golf.
