GOLFLink

GOLFLink is the National Handicapping program set up by the Australian Golf Union to provide a uniform system of handicapping for all affiliated players. Womens Golf Australia which handles Womens' golfers handicaps also utilises the system. Using GOLFLink, players are able to have maintained for them an up to the day handicap which can be accessed at any affiliated Golf Club in Australia simply by a swipe of the GOLFLink Card. Although there have been some difficulties in its establishment generally speaking GOLFLink now operates well and reliably. At Box Hill Golf Club results of competition rounds played here and at other Clubs are entrered into the system on Monday,Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday. This data entry is carried out by the Club Handicapper and by the Ladies Handicapper. Although the Box Hill Golf Club web site carries plenty of detail concerning your Golfing history and latest handicap changes (this detail is also constantly available on the Time sheet and Handicap Kiosks at the CLub) some members may be intrested in accessing the GOLFLink data base.
