The Function Room

The Function room at Box Hill Golf Club is on the upper level of the building, it is readily accessed from the Front entrance to the Club rooms from Street level, by a flight of four stairs or by way of a foot path level access verandah which makes it convenient for those who are unable to negotiate the stairs.

Entrance to the room is preceded by the Club reception foyer and hallway.

The capacity of the function room is varied depending on what type of seating format is required. For example; for a dinner with all guests seated and no use of the integrated dance floor the room will seat two hundred people. Include the dance floor and the capacity is reduced by fifty people to 150.

The view from the room is spectacular both during the night and day as it directly overlooks the gardens, fountain and the first and sixth fairways. The distance backdrop is a wall of Australian Native trees. Toilets are readily accessible  (at night he first and sixth fairways are floodlit)and there is a disabled persons / baby change facility adjacent to the room.

The function room is serviced by a dedicated bar which serves a full range of wines beers and spirits.

Staff are uniformed and are fully trained to provide efficient polite and friendly service.

Members Dining Room

The Member's dining Room at Box Hill Golf Club is located on the upper level of the building, it is readily accessed from the Front entrance to the Club rooms from Street level, by a flight of four stairs or by way of a foot path level access verandah and ramp which makes it convenient for those who are unable to negotiate the stairs.

Entrance to  the room is preceded by the Club reception foyer and hallway.

Capacity of the Dining Room function room is varies depending on what type of seating format is required. For example, for a dinner with all persons seated the room comfortably accommodates 110 people. Many more can be accommodated for a “stand up” gathering

The Member's Dining Room is serviced by a dedicated bar which serves a full range of wines beers and spirits.

The room also has a lounge area for casual drinks and relaxation.

The Member's Dining Room tends to be utilised mainly for medium sized dinners and when not booked for such an event it is a very popular restaurant serving a wide selection of meals from “members specials" on Tuesday Wednesday and Thursdays night (visitors and guests also attend this popular service) to a complete and delicious a la carte menu on Friday and Saturdays.

On Sunday the very popular summer lunch or winter carvery menu is served.

Bookings for private dining are encouraged and on many occasions essential.
